The purpose of this program is to make protection and advocacy services available to disabled beneficiaries of the Social Security Act. This program can only serve beneficiaries of the Social Security Act who have disabilities.
The PABSS program can provide the following services:
1. Information and advice about obtaining vocational rehabilitation and employment services; and
2. Advocacy or other services that a disabled beneficiary may need to secure or regain gainful employment.
