PATBI
Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury - PATBI

The purpose of this program is to provide protection and advocacy services for people with traumatic brain injuries. Payments to provide these services are made to the Protection and advocacy system established pursuant to part C of title I of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act (42 U.S.C. §15001).
People eligible for services are those with a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
This program may provide the following services:
- Information, Referrals and Advice
- Individual and Family Advocacy
- Legal Representation
- Assistance with Self-Advocacy
PATBI is authorized in:
- 42 USC §300d-53, P.L. 106-310
First Authorization: Children's Health Act of 2000
PATBI is administered and regulated by:
