The Hawaii Disability Rights Center (HDRC) has organized the "universe" of issues in which we may protect and advocate for the human, civil an legal rights of people with disabilities. They are:
- Care and Treatment
- Citizenship
- Education
- Employment
- Freedom of Association
- Housing
- Justice
- Programs and Services
Because we do not have adequate resources to address all these legal issues for all people with disabilities, HDRC develops Client Service Priorities - issues that are given preference in the case screening and selection process.
Client Services Priorities are developed based on public comments which are solicited annually, on the expressed need of our clients, and on the current resources of our Center.
