The PAIMI Advisory Council reviews applications and prepares a slate of nominees to the President who appoints new advisors to 2 year terms beginning January 1. HDRC seeks broad community representation and skills to advise the PAIMI program on its client service priorities and on the advocacy needs of people with mental illness. At least 60% of the PAIMI Council members must be consumers of mental health services, former consumers or their families.
